YONDAPP is a simple to use, map-free, local social navigation tool. It helps you find friends and places, using a simple, intuitive, direction + distance interface.
YONDAPP uses your phones GPS receiver and Internet connection to enable you to easily find your friends and places. YONDAPP does not use maps, but instead uses a direction and distance finder to show you where to go. How many times has having a map really helped you find a location, or friend? How many times do you wish someone would just say “it’s 450 yards, that way”? Well, this is exactly what YONDAPP gives you.
What about privacy? Well, firstly, only friends that you have invited to join you on YONDAPP can share their location with you. Secondly, as there is no map, your actual location is never shared, only a direction & distance to you where you are. Thirdly, you can simply turn YONDAPP off.
YONDAPP helps you log places & find your way back. Have you ever been to a favourite restaurant or bar, and can never remember quite where it is? Have you ever been on vacation or on a business trip and want to make sure you can find your way back to you hotel? Ever been to a festival and lost one of your friends? YONDAPP is the solution. After all, what use is a map in a strange city, or in a field at a festival, or on the beach?
